Temperature and time are the keys to a successful roast. Conditions must be monitored when roasting. Our electronically controlled equipment
performs any type of roast.
Common Types of Roasting: Cinnamon, American, City, Full City, Vienna, French, Italian, and Expresso Each type of roast has different qualities from a nut-like flavor to burnt flavor-strong and sweet. Our roaster is cleaned automatically between each roasting cycle to ensure that the blend you order is the blend you get. Equipment Plays an Important Role
From making a blended coffee to serving it, equipment plays an important role, not only in the manufacture of the coffee, but the grinding, packaging, and brewing. Our roasters are capable of producing 2400 pounds of coffee per hour, are smokeless, and self clean. Our grinding and packaging systems are purged between blends to guarantee quality processing. Packaging of any size can be performed by our automated packer. Computer porgrams store specific information about the weight and package size. For restaurants and other customers which will be serving their coffee, Top Shelf has a complete inventory of coffee machines, grinders, and dispensers available.
